PREVIOUS EVENTS

Northshoreexpos.com is an expo company dedicated to hosting large scale expos at least once each quarter in the northern suburbs of Chicago.  Our events range from Trivia Nights, to Mah Jongg Tournaments, to Empowerment Seminars, Home Expos, and so much more!  We are also available to help outside companies with expo consultation, day-of services, or complete event planning.  For more info please contact Laura at mnoevents1@gmail.com who is the Founder and CEO of Mommy's Nite Out, LLC our parent company.

We're super excited to debut our latest event, The Midwest Mah Jongg Tournament(Spring Edition) happening Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Max and Benny's new event space Ariella's.

Whether you're new to the game or have been playing for years, we invite everyone to experience a day of fun, prizes, food, and tournament play.

Itinerary for the day: Players are invited to check-in starting at 10am and enjoy a delicious brunch.  Please make us aware of any dietary restrictions by emailing Laura at mnoevents1@gmail.com.  At that time, players can also purchase raffle tickets for a $1 each or 15 tickets for $10 for a chance to win amazing prizes.  Cash only please.

At 11am, everyone will take their seats and commence in tournament play.  We will play 4 rounds then break for dessert.  After dessert, we will play another four rounds.

While the winners are tallied, we will be announcing the raffle winners for the day.  And finally, we will announce the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place players.  Winners will receive a fabulous prize as well as ticket to attend the next tournament for FREE!  In the case of a tie, each player will pull a tile and the higher tile will win.

**Tickets for the day cost $45 per person or $180 per foursome.  If you sign up before February 10, 2020 you can take advantage of $10 off per single ticket or $40 per foursome**

If signing up as a foursome, we ask that 1 player at the table brings a mah jongg set.  The player who brings their set should act as a representative of the group and send an email to mnoevents1@gmail.com listing their fellow players.  Please title the email "Mahj Foursome Group Names".  As well, those who sign up as a foursome are required to find a replacement for any player missing from said foursome if someone is unable to play that day.

If signing up as a single player, we will do our best to create a foursome for you of similarly skilled players.  If we are unable to do so, we will notify you.  Please email mnoevents1@gmail.com with the subject saying "single player skill level".

There will be no reimbursements for players who do not attend. 

1) All players must be at least 21 years of age or older

2) Players must bring their 2020 National Mah Jongg League Players Card

3) Players must have purchased a ticket to the tournament 72 hours prior to the event

4) You are welcome to bring a snack table that can sit next to your tournament table

5) All tickets are final sale.  Please make us aware of any changes to your schedule that may inhibit your attendance ASAP
